The restaurant L'Orangerie, situated on Saint Louis
Island, used to be owned by actor Jean Claude Brialy who
was famous for his roles in the New Wave films of Godard
and Truffaut.
Since September 2006, Michel del Burgo, the 3-star chef
of Taillevent, has taken over its longtime tradition and
offers sophisticated French food with exquisite
ingredients. Mushroom ravioli with black truffle is the
chef's specialty and the restaurant is also known for
dishes inspired by Mediterranean cuisine and flavored
with olives, basils, and red peppers.
Inside there are historical wood beams, tapestries, and
a fireplace which provide a classy, graceful atmosphere.
L'Orangerie, located in one of the most chic quarters of
